Warner Wolf with John Vorperian
Recently taped an interview with Westchester sports talk show host John Vorperian for his television show “Beyond the Game,” shown on White Plains Cable Television’s Channel 76. Airs in White Plains, NY Channel 76, prime time Tuesdays 10PM & Fridays 9PM and Scarsdale, NY Channel 76 check local listing for evenings in prime time.
Johnny V as he is known, has taped well over 300 episodes and has had numerous New York metropolitan sports legends, sportswriters, and authors on his show. He' s had on Warner Wolf, Bob Wolff, Harry Carson, and THE Yogi Berra, to name a few. He's a great interviewer and a great guy.

LIBRARY JOURNAL PRAISES YOGI: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF AN AMERICAN ORIGINAL
Library Journal
Public libraries probably have books by or about Yogi, but DeVito (Wellington: The Maras, the Giants, and the City of New York) aims to be definitive with his long and admiring look at Lawrence Peter (Lorenzo Pietro) Berra's life, detailing the man behind the malapropisms. A more thorough treatment than most star players receive, it's likely to appeal more to seasoned buffs than to fans of Yogi's AFLAC commercial. For all large baseball collections.
